Opinion by Justice HINOJOSA.

Appellant, Marie Lisette Garcia Vega, was tried as an adult in Hidalgo County. A jury found her guilty of the offenses of capital murder, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated robbery. Because the State did not seek the death penalty for the capital murder, the trial court assessed her punishment at life imprisonment. The jury assessed her punishment at 20 years imprisonment for the aggravated kidnapping and 20 years...
