While responding to a fire at Donald Keith Kroeger's residence, authorities discovered a methamphetamine laboratory. After a jury trial, Kroeger was convicted of manufacturing and attempting to manufacture methamphetamine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 846, and endangering human life while doing so, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 858. The district court sentenced him to concurrent terms of 240 months...
