R.D. Patterson sued Colonial Bank ("Colonial"), alleging negligence, breach of contract, conspiracy, wrongful dishonor of a check, and intentional interference with business relations. In response, Colonial filed a counterclaim to collect a debt Patterson owed Colonial.
