Morelli was convicted, in a jury trial, of the felony offense of misapplying trust funds of $500 or more of which she was a trustee under a construction contract for the improvement of real property. See Tex.Prop.Code Ann. §§ 162.031(a) (West 1995), .032(b) (West Supp.2000). The trial court assessed appellant's punishment at imprisonment for five years and a fine of $5,000. We will sustain...
