Defendants-appellants, the Hill family,1 appeal the judgment of the trial court awarding $17,172.00 as just compensation for the expropriation of a pipeline servitude by plaintiff-appellee, Exxon Pipeline Company ("Exxon"). We conclude the trial court legally erred in its conclusion that the testimony of appellants' expert real estate appraiser was inadmissible and vacate the award.
