On March 9, 1999, following the trial court's denial of a motion to suppress evidence, Randy Wayne Mangrum entered an unconditional plea of guilty to manufacturing a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and was sentenced to 144 months in the Arkansas Department of Correction.
