PER CURIAM.

The state filed a petition for writ of certiorari challenging an order which compelled it to produce certain information concerning a confidential informant. We conclude that the trial court erred by failing to weigh the interests of the state and the safety of the individual against the defendant's right to develop his defense. We, therefore, grant the petition for writ of certiorari and remand for the trial court to reconsider the defendant's motion...
