Opinion by Justice GRANT.

Marylene Megason, the former County Clerk of Bowie County, appeals from her conviction of two counts for the offense of abuse of official capacity. On a change of venue motion, the case was transferred to Camp County for trial and was tried by a visiting judge with an attorney pro tem representing the State. A jury convicted Megason, and the court assessed her punishment on each count at one year in a state jail facility...
