The plaintiffs in this action are registered nurses formerly employed by the defendant, Cleveland Clinic Foundation Health Care Ventures, Inc. They sued, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 201-219 (1994), for failure to pay for overtime work, and they demanded back pay, liquidated damages, and attorneys' fees.
