The Defendant, DeWayne Allen Courtney, pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and was sentenced to five years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. Appellate counsel has filed an appeal, alleging that there are no non-frivolous issues to consider and has requested permission to withdraw.
