Timothy Farber was convicted of murder and robbery. The State sought a sentence of life imprisonment without parole alleging that Farber had intentionally killed while committing a robbery. A jury recommended against life without parole but the trial court nevertheless imposed that sentence. Farber was also sentenced to thirty years for robbery.
