The only question in this appeal arises out of the sufficiency of the evidence presented by Jeremy Rittierodt (Rittierodt) to justify an instruction to the jury on future medical expenses, future pain and suffering, and the loss of enjoyment of life. The trial judge refused an instruction on these elements of damage because of his view that the evidence was not sufficient to justify a finding of such damages by the jury.
