The defendant Dr. Richard A. R. Fraser, a neurosurgeon, admitted the plaintiff Mike Elliott to the defendant New York Hospital (hereinafter the Hospital) in July 1991. Dr. Fraser requested a neurological examination of Mr. Elliott.
