Defendant, the Regional Transportation District (RTD), appeals from the denial of its motion to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction the complaint brought by plaintiff, Eddie Faye Harris. We affirm.

According to the complaint, on December 6, 1997, while exiting a RTD bus, plaintiff slipped and fell on ice, snow, and slush that had accumulated on the interior steps of the bus. Plaintiff sought damages based on injuries...
