On August 25, 1998, a federal jury in Louisville, Kentucky, convicted John Arthur Gonzales ("Gonzales") on three counts of bankruptcy fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 152 and one count of giving a false statement in a judicial proceeding in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001.
