Defendant Nancy Jo Rebmann pled guilty to distribution of heroin in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) pursuant to a plea agreement.1 That agreement provided that Rebmann understood that her maximum term of imprisonment was 20 years for her guilty plea of distribution, but that if the district court found that death resulted from the distribution, she would be sentenced to a term of 20 years to life....
