Plaintiff Barbara V. Shaut filed this action on 10 December 1998 seeking visitation of defendant Amy Cannon's minor children— Alison Cannon, born on 2 November 1987, and William Christopher Cannon, born 18 July 1989. In her complaint, plaintiff alleged that her son, Christopher Ivan Cannon, is the father of the two minor children and that he died on 16 March 1990. Plaintiff further alleged that she had enjoyed a loving relationship with her grandchildren...
