INTRODUCTION

Randy Lee Stevenson appeals the order of the Pierce County District Court denying his motion for postconviction relief following an evidentiary hearing. For the reasons set forth herein, the order of the district court is affirmed in part and in part reversed, and the cause is remanded for further proceedings.
