On January 20, 1998, the defendant was charged by complaint in the Roxbury District Court with carjacking (G. L. c. 265, § 21A), receiving a stolen motor vehicle (G. L. c. 266, § 28), and operating a motor vehicle without a license (G. L. c. 90, § 10).
