The petitioner, Ronald Lee Daniel, has taken this appeal from the judgment of the habeas court dismissing his amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus in which he made four claims challenging the legality of his confinement. On appeal, the petitioner claims that the habeas court acted improperly (1) in finding that the record established that his plea of guilty was knowing, intelligent and voluntary,1
