On July 15, 1999, formal charges were filed by the Committee on Inquiry of the Third Disciplinary District of relator Nebraska State Bar Association (NSBA) against respondent Scott D. Freese. Amended formal charges were filed on July 16 by the NSBA's Assistant Counsel for Discipline, pursuant to Neb. Ct. R. of Discipline 10(E) (rev.1996).
