Petitioner-Appellant Alvin Urial Goodwin III, a Texas death-row inmate, appeals from the district court's denial of his application for a writ of habeas corpus, arguing that the lower court's finding that he had not invoked his right to counsel before confessing to the crime of which he was convicted is clearly erroneous. He also requests that we revisit an ineffective-assistance-of-counsel claim in light of the Supreme Court's intervening decision...
