I. INTRODUCTION

Can a corporation that purchases assets of the manufacturer of a rifle sold in Alaska be held liable for personal injury caused in Alaska by a defect in the rifle? The superior court held that it could, and we agree. But we reverse and remand for application of the pertinent successor liability doctrines discussed below.
