The central issue on this motion to dismiss the complaint pursuant to CPLR 3211 (a) (7) is whether the exception enunciated in Wieder v Skala (80 N.Y.2d 628 [1992]) to New York's rule relating to employment at will should be extended to a physician employed by a nonmedical entity.
