Appellee, Carlos Gil-Perez, filed suit alleging appellants, Southwest Key Program, Inc. d/b/a Texas Key Program, Inc., (Southwest Key) and La Esperanza Home for Boys (the Home),1 were negligent and proximately caused his injuries and damages. The case was tried to a jury that found Southwest Key one hundred percent negligent and awarded $ 75,000 in damages, plus interest and costs. The court entered a final...
