OPINION

GRAY, Justice.

After a trial by jury, Don Taylor Harris, II was convicted of two counts of manslaughter, two counts of intoxication manslaughter, and failure to stop and render aid arising out of a traffic accident resulting in the death of a single victim. There was a deadly weapon finding. The jury assessed punishment as 36 years in prison plus a $10,000 fine for each of the four manslaughter convictions...
