Opinion by: KAREN ANGELINI, Justice.
Juan Cerda Garza pled nolo contendere to murdering his common-law wife and was sentenced to 35 years imprisonment pursuant to a plea bargain. The issue on appeal is whether the trial court erred in denying Garza's motion to suppress his two written statements, which included a confession to the murder.
