This case addresses the question of whether an employee injured while occupying her employer's insured vehicle can seek excess uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage from her personal automobile insurance policy under Minn.Stat. § 65B.49, subd. 3a(5) (1998). Carol Becker, a truck driver, was injured in a motor vehicle accident during the course and scope of her employment while driving a semi-truck owned by her employer...
