This case arises out of a bitter family dispute of long standing over control of the Takara corporate entities. Plaintiff Mitsuhiro Honzawa was sued in New York and several international forums for allegedly converting $2,346,841.28 in corporate funds. The evidence was based in large measure on hearsay.
