The appellant, Carlos Enrique Flores, was charged with intoxication manslaughter and manslaughter in Cause No. 97-CR-58171 after the vehicle he was driving struck another vehicle and caused the death of the driver of the other vehicle. As a result of the accident, Flores was also charged with failure to stop and render aid in Cause No. 98-CR-0104.2...
