EGINTON, Senior District Judge.

Plaintiff Robert Mormile, a thirty year employee of defendant Metropolitan Life Insurance Company ("Metlife"), brings this action alleging violations of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act ("ERISA"), breach of contract and promissory estoppel. Pending is the defendants' motion for summary judgment [Doc. # 21] on all five counts of the plaintiff's complaint.
