As a result of a traffic violation, Lincoln police officers stopped the vehicle the defendant was driving. In the course of the ensuing investigation, a used cigarette butt containing marijuana was found in a Newport cigarette box in the back seat, and more marijuana was found in the crotch area of a front seat passenger.
