George H. Evenson appeals his conviction, as a prior offender, § 558.016, of one count of deviate sexual assault, § 566.070; one count of attempt to commit sexual assault, §§ 564.011 and 566.040; and one count of forcible sodomy, § 566.060.1 The victim of these crimes was Evenson's live-in girlfriend, Lori Wisdom. Evenson was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment...
