¶ 1 Defendant Chamnap In appeals from his judgment of conviction for possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-10-503(3)(a)(i) (Supp.1997).1 Defendant argues that he was not a "restricted person" as defined in section 76-10-503(3)(a)(i) because, although he had pleaded guilty to a prior felony at the time of this offense, he had not been sentenced...
