Susan Stauss (Stauss), by her legal guardians Alfred Stauss and Alice Stauss, brought an action for damages against the private group home Oconomowoc Residential Programs, Inc., d/b/a Homes for Independent Living, and Continental Insurance Company (HIL) after she was sexually assaulted by a staff member at the home.
