Ms. Johnson's amended complaint in this suit alleges that Mr. Levine, who was at that time a police officer for the Southeastern Pennsylvanian Transportation Authority (SEPTA), verbally and physically abused Ms. Johnson as she waited on the steps of a SEPTA Information Booth for her bus to arrive at 6:45 a.m. Mr. Levine allegedly handcuffed Ms. Johnson and drove her to the station for the 35th Police District.
