Appellant Jack Harold Jones Jr. was convicted in the White County Circuit Court of the capital murder and rape of Mary Phillips and the attempted capital murder of Lacy Phillips. Jones was sentenced to death by lethal injection, life imprisonment, and thirty years' imprisonment, respectively, for the crimes. This court affirmed the convictions and sentences in Jones v. State, 329 Ark. 62,
