Appellant was charged in separate indictments for possession of a motor vehicle with an altered vehicle identification number and possession of cocaine. At a pretrial hearing, the trial court granted the State's motion to consolidate the two indictments for trial over appellant's objection. The jury found appellant not guilty of possession...
