Kowalchuk appeals from a circuit court order upholding a Labor and Industry Review Commission (LIRC) decision which denied his claim that he sustained an injury on or about July 6, 1996, due to his employment at Sunny Slope Grading, Inc. Kowalchuk contends that substantial and credible evidence did not support LIRC's ruling that his injury claim was invented to justify his failure to report for work for purely personal reasons.
