The defendant, Gregory Burrus, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of larceny in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-122 (a) (4).1 On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court improperly (1) found that there was sufficient evidence to support the jury's verdict and (2) failed to instruct the jury on an essential element of the offense...
