The court convicted Sherita Sherall Oliver in a bench trial of unlawfully carrying a weapon. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. § 46.02(a) (Vernon Supp.2000). The court sentenced her to one year in the county jail and a $1,000 fine, suspended imposition of sentence, and placed her on community supervision for two years.
