Defendants Trans World Airlines, Inc., The Boeing Company, and Hydro-Aire, Inc., appeal from a decision of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Robert W. Sweet, J., in June 1998 that denied their motion to dismiss plaintiffs' claims for nonpecuniary damages as barred under the Death on the High Seas Act, 46 U.S.C. app. §§ 761-767 (usually referred to hereafter as DOHSA).
