In this certified appeal, the plaintiff, Carole Burnham, appeals from the judgment of the Appellate Court affirming the trial court's judgment rendered following the granting of the defendants' motion for summary judgment. This appeal requires us to consider whether the Appellate Court properly concluded that the plaintiff was precluded from bringing a cause of action for wrongful discharge against her former employer.
