Previously, we considered Vincent Huizar's appeal wherein he complained that his trial attorney was ineffective, in part, for failing to request a reasonable-doubt instruction during the punishment phase of trial. After examining the totality of the attorney's performance, we determined that the failure to ask for a reasonable-doubt instruction in the court's punishment charge did not amount to ineffective assistance of counsel...
