Segrets Inc., a designer and manufacturer of women's clothing, sued Gillman Knitwear Co., Inc., alleging that Gillman violated the Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq., by producing sweaters that infringed Segrets's copyrighted designs.
