The defendant appeals from his conviction of trafficking in excess of twenty-eight grams of cocaine. We reverse his conviction and remand for a new trial because all evidence of police brutality was excluded so as to preclude the defendant from conveying the issue of police bias to the jury. The credibility of the police witnesses was a critical issue at trial. We discuss only those issues that are relevant...
