This case arises from a suit brought by Kevin Ahern and Gail Ahern (hereinafter, plaintiffs/appellees) against Al-Miraj, Inc. (hereinafter, defendant/ appellant) for breach of contract involving the construction of plaintiffs'/appellees' home. The issue before this court is whether the trial judge abused his discretion in his rulings. The facts necessary for an understanding of the issues are as follows.
