Manuel and Elia Vazquez brought the instant action against homebuilder Shoma Development Corporation (Shoma) claiming breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation. The basis of their complaint was the Vazquezes' claim that Shoma had promised the Vazquezes a two car garage on the home they had purchased, however the garage on the couple's finished home could not fit two cars.
