In this medical malpractice action, the plaintiffs, Johnnie M. Wilkes, Billy Joe Wilkes, Jr. and Shirley Wilkes Johnson, appeal the trial court's judgment dismissing their lawsuit against the defendant, Dr. E. Linus Carroll, and his insurer, Louisiana Medical Mutual Insurance Company. The trial court found that the plaintiffs' lawsuit had been abandoned.
