Justice FREEMAN delivered the opinion of the court:

Defendant, Dennis Pullen, entered a negotiated plea in the circuit court of Bureau County. Claiming error in the sentencing, defendant filed an amended motion to withdraw the plea. The trial court denied defendant's motion. The appellate court reversed (304 Ill.App.3d 294, 237 Ill.Dec. 511, 709 N.E.2d 980
